Robot Cleaner - Samsung NaviBot vs iRobot Roomba

Comparison of Zig-zag pattern and Random

Samsung cleaning robot recognizes the shape of the ceiling through the camera, identifing the area to be cleaned and determines the best way to pass over and clean every section of the floor.

iRobot robot cleaner does clean at random and vacuum the same spot several times, it seems really random. But it works according to the programmed cleanning patterns.

Have fun to watch

  1. We purchased the newer model of the Mami in South Korea, named SEVIAN, and are sorely disappointed because it can't pick up its own bristles after it loses them. The intent of buying this was to keep our hardwood floors clean for our baby to crawl around. Instead, the machine is shedding about 3 to 5 bristles per use, and is unable to suck them back up off of our hardwood floor. We have to spend time going around and cleaning them up so our little girl doesn't try to pick them up and stick them in her mouth!

Also we are having battery error troubles (E-6 Error). We called Mami service, and were told to reinstall the battery. That didn't work. We still get the E-6 error about every-other cleaning. Sad to say it, but it appears that our device may be lightly scratching our veneer hardwood, as well. The Mami is running on full power sometimes, and other times, displays an "L" for a low battery after staring a run from "FULL".

We have had our Mami for just 2 weeks.

    Really disappointed.

  2. And how your post about Mami related to the article about Samsung Tango and iRobot Roomba? Besides the fact that it's also a robotic vacuum cleaner.
